PNW Forest Vegetation Management Conference

The PNW FVMC was modeled on the successful Forest Vegetation Management Conference held each winter in Northern California. With support from Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI), WFCA designed the conference as an annual event that meets the educational needs of foresters, landowners, and applicators in the Pacific Northwest.

The conference provides an ongoing and reliable source of continuing education on the safe and effective use of chemicals for the management of PNW forests. It remains critical for professional forest managers to be current on both protecting the public and the environment from adverse effects while helping to maintain the availability of forest chemicals for beneficial uses.

Each year includes presentations and panel discussions by practicing foresters, applicators, academics, and chemical company representatives. Interaction with exhibitors and vendors is also a significant part of this conference. Pesticide recertification credits are available for Washington,  Oregon, and Idaho applicators.
